Sprucing Up your Credits - Some Quick Ideas

Today, I was messing around with some Opening Credits on trakAxPC Pro and thought I would put together a short blog showing some quick ideas to spruce up your Opening / Closing Credits.

In the video below, I have shown four examples of how you can use credits and the intro music to create different atmospheres. I have just shown the first two items in the credit sequence, but you could obviously build on these ideas to build an entire opening sequence for your credits.

Some Tips - Fonts

To give your credits a more professional look, try playing around with different versions of the same font - so the first element in the Credit could be a “bold” version of the font, with the second element in a “light” version of the same font.

If you have a very limited selection of fonts on your PC, you may want to look at increasing your collection. Fonts can cost anything from completely free to $1000, but a really good, clean font will be worth the investment and you’ll find yourself returning to use it time after time.

Some Tips - Royalty-Free Videos

If you are creating a video for a business or a corporate presentation, sometimes you may struggle to source a piece of video that is suitable for the intro. A great way to get over this, is to source some affordable royalty-free video. Where we have placed our intro credits, could be your product messaging and key sales lines. There are tons of royalty-free video sites out there and prices can vary considerably, but two that are worth checking out are:
