Another update on the development roadmap - support for transparent images (PNGs and Gifs) will be available in the upcoming release.

Nice. Hopefully that feature will eventually be extended to movie clips using codecs that support alpha information (e.g. HuffYUV, Lagarith), for adding computer-created overlay material that has more than one frame.

thats great news, you’ll also be able to add overlays, frames, gradients etc
