We are currently putting together some Tips & Tricks to help Small Businesses take advantage of using Video for marketing and Web promotions. The first topic we are going to cover is embedding your Video into Blog or Website. This is an extremely simple process and once your video is on YouTube (you can directly upload from trakAxPC), embedding your video takes less than 1 minute.

- SERVER MAINTENANCE AND DOWNTIME

Just a quick note - The server farm used to activate / deactivate the trakAxPC Pro Licenses, will be moving to a new datacenter on February 16-18th, 2010 starting at 11:00 PM EST.
So this will mean that there will be an period where users will not be able to activate or de-activate their licenses during that night/day. For most users downtime will be in the very early hours of the morning and so we are not expecting users to have a sustained delay, if at all.
However, if you do experience any delay, please wait an hour or two and then try again.
Update:
Please note: There may be an outage on Feb 21st / 22nd. I will post further details as they become available.

A great way to drive more traffic to your YouTube videos is to leverage up visitors to a particular video and send them directly to other content that you want to share with them, whether this be another video or your YouTube channel.
In the video below, Cormac shows you, step-by-step, how to create a cool video collage at the end of your video, ready to add your annotations, so you can get viewers to go to other videos you have created or to go directly to your channel page. This is a great tool, especially for business users where you want to keep potential customers as engaged as possible with your message.

- User Video - Cross Country Skiing

Yesterday, I received this great video and message from a trakAxPC user, André Laprade in Canda, which I thought was worth sharing:
“I did a 50km race two weekends ago wearing a GoPro HD Hero and put the video on Youtube on Thursday. I used TrakAxPc to produce it (except for the opening screen). Within 24 hours of the posting, the ski club received phone calls from two TV networks and one from the head office of Subaru Canada (who sponsors cross-country ski events), all expressing an interest in the video.”
I’m really impressed with the quality of the final video - have to check out those GoPro cameras, which are surprisingly affordable. Well done to André for such an amazing achievement - to finish a 50k Cross-Country Ski Marathon is really something and thanks for sharing the video.

In this short video, Cormac shows you how quickly you can create a Ringtone for your phone using your existing music library with the trakkutter in TrakAxPC Pro.
You can edit your tracks simply by creating a selection and then exporting this selection to MP3. Then place the MP3 on your phone.To set a new Ringtone varies from device to device, however, it is usually located in Profiles > Sounds & Alerts or Settings > Sounds & Notifications. Some devices allow you to browse for new sounds, however with other devices you will have to place the new Ringtone in the folder where the “Sounds” are located.
