Hi,
I would really appreciate some advice for a query I just can’t figure out!
Is it possible to add a partial inset onto a video? I see that it is possible, where I have two video segments, to run them both at the same time with one of them being reduced in size and running as an inset over the the other. However, I don’t simply want to reduce the size of the insetted video but rather I want to cut a frame from within the inserted video and show it while the original video is playing.

Do you get me?

thanks,

Mark

I composed this song a few weeks ago and waited till my new Tascam DP 24 arrived to record all the tracks. for the video production I used trakAx PC and Windows movie maker which reduced the size of the MB’s but compressed the audio somewhat, still I think it worked out ok the video is a collage of photos of myself thru out my 50 years of playing music I added some motion backgrounds and used the PIP feature on trakAx to create a collage effect this project took a few weeks to record and edit but I enjoyed every minute.
The video can be seen on my You tube website here.

Hi,

It’s been a while since I’ve visited, a while since I’ve had time to do any filming and the first time I’ve used V4. I took this footage a few days ago on a lake a few hours from where I live. The fish are small but its more about the other reasons for going fishing and seeking some solitude. The weather was sensational, there were no people about and watching the sun set from on the water was fairly special.

Really like what I have seen so far with the new version. No crashes and a few bugs I used to work around seem fixed. My editing here is sloppy I know but I am a bit time poor so was pleased with the result in the time I had available - probably less than 2 hours end to end. Even though I haven’t done much with the software for a while, once you know the basics of the interface, everything else is intuitive. One day I will put some time aside to explore the features properly - maybe if I ever get some footage of big fish. Its a great product!

cheers

Rob

It was Love (or ‘Liefde was het...’ in Dutch) is a song that actually has lyrics, but I decided to do an instrumental version.

I love the song, it fits both the time before and after Easter (Biblically speaking). It can sound both sad and dramatic (Good Friday), but also hopefull, and dare I say, cheery (Easter and on).

Being instrumental, it gave me the chance to put my guitar lessons to use playing the melody (and variation thereoff) and these kind of songs are also great for my accoustic bass (which for some reason I like to play while it’s standing up).

Finally, it’s the first full video-music recording I did with my new camera i.o. my webcam.

Yo-yo-yo,

Since a few weeks, I have taken up (electric) guitar lessons, to actually learn some solo-work, besides the standard chords. I have also bought a new camera, so now I am filming with that i.o. my good old web-cam.

Music still gets recorded on the computer (with TAPC, of cours ) and the video is added lateron.
So I took a song from the gospel rock band Delirious and played along.

I composed this song earlier this week this is what it starts out as,an idea and this becomes the template for the song I will build on this and re-record the audio with my condenser microphone and digital recorder and the video segments of all the instruments used will be edited in trakAx, all songs have there beginings that are developed but this is where it starts.
