Making Videos for Serato dj software help please????

I just wanted some help on making video remixes for my dj software serato (Scratch live)? what i want to do is take the Original video clip but mute the sound and add my own remix music to the Video clip instead. If you could please point me in the right direction on witch video tuturials to watch would be greatly appreciated? Thanks guys.

TrakAxPC Media Browser won’t identify some video files?

Hi! I’ve just recently downloaded the trial version of trakax but I’ve used it before. Usually, I’d have no problem finding my media in the media browser, but for some reason some of the video files aren’t showing up, even if I place them in a different folder. Is there any way of fixing this? If you need a screen shot, I’d be happy to provide one, but I’m not sure how I’d show you files not showing up…

Any help is much appreciated!

TrackAx doesn’t have a screen capture program, does it?

Hi there!

I’ve been testing TrakAx for a few hours and it’s looking pretty good indeed!
I’ve also been watching some of the tutorial videos. Now, I don’t think TraAx includes a screen capture program, so my question is, which screen capture program was used to make the original videos? (which were later on professionally edited with Trakax).

It just makes things so easy to follow… (currently I’m using BSR screen recorder, registered version, which has a rather poor video editor and that’s how I got interested in TrakAx, by the way).
I’ve also tested camtasia, but didn’t like it.

Anyway, I’m really liking TrakAx so far, so easy to use… very intuitive!

PowerPoint Slides and animations

I’m putting together some training videos to post on my website, which will have PowerPoint slides included. I have done this before by saving them as .jpg or .png files, but these were static images. I now want to include slides that have PP animations. Is this possible?

decoding video takes a long time!

I just downloaded the trial version and was wondering if it’s normal for the video to take 7+ mins to begin playing in the video output window? In the browser window, I select a .avi or .mpg video and it’s several mins before the playback starts. I just don’t know if that’s the norm or not.

How do I increase the volume on a video segment?

Hi All, Can anybody advise me please if it’s possible to increase the volume on a video segment? One segment is quieter than the rest in my mix and the soundtrack is muting out the voice, which I want to be able to hear. I reckon I would want to double the volume level and I can’t figure out how.

How to get the “DeskTop” on the Media Browser Explorer

How can I get the files I have on my DeskTop with the Media Browser?
This has been so frustrating to me.
I cannot find the DeskTop icon on the Media Browser Explorer.
I place files I’m working with on the Desktop temporarily
What am I missing?

How to sync 2 sound tracks and 1 video track

Hello to all!

I just found TrakAxPC, looks great! So I hope it can help me do what I want.
I have been testing it, I’ve seen a couple of help videos already, but I’m still not sure on how it works.

I play the saxophone, and I want to make mixes of the songs I play.
I want to take a video of me playing the song (the video camera has poor sound), then I want to add the play-along music track, and then add myself playing the song recorded from my high-quality digital recorder.

I have been able to add all 3 tracks to the mix window, but I’m having trouble fine tuning the sync of all 3 tracks.

How can I fine tune the tracks so the video, play-along, and my recorded track start all at the right time perfectly??

I’m able to move them back and forward, but even after supposedly disabling those “segment lines”, even if I try to move a track a little, it snaps to one of those lines. Very frustrating :(

Is there a video, or instructions on how to sync tracks so they all start perfectly?

I suspect this is probably easy to do, so please excuse me if this is a “dumb” question.

I will definitely buy the Pro version if I could do this.

i had made a music mix but i can’t play it any more. if i pres play it doesn’t do anything.
