took me a while to find a program i like and trakAx is very nice! easy to use which is always good for newbs like me. anyway..

couldnt find an instrumental version of orange crush so i just looped the beginning and cut the drum rolls and chorus in. as far as vocals go, im limited to what i can find as an acapella. i dont really care for rap/hip-hop but theres a buttload of acapellas out there for them so.. anyway…

Hey - I was doing some searching on YouTube and saw that quite a few people had made videos/music tracks with associated videos with trakAxPC/trakAxMobile. Lots of them were pretty cool.

If you’d like to embed your YouTube clips into the Forum, just use the <youtube> button above (just under the Bold/Italic formatting buttons) and copy the actual Url link of the YouTube video (not the embed code) into the pop-up window that asks you to enter the YouTube string - then your video will appear in the forum.

A Look Under the Hood - Mj vs Dp

i’m workin on another mix right now (R.E.M. vs Eminem, Dr. Dre, DMX, Michael Jackson) but in the mean time i thought i’d post this. i just started using this program a couple months ago so i’m still learning new stuff every time i use it. this is just a look under the hood of one of my tracks to see what it looks like bare bones. i’m not sure if everybodys tracks look as messy as mine but…

i tend to use volume envelopes to cut off tracks instead of cutting them because sometimes cutting them stretches out the end and it sounds weird.. so thats why there is a massive amount of volume envelopes.

are everybodys tracks as messy as mine?
