Do I have to register to post on the forums?
Yes. You need to register to post on our various forums. If you choose not to register, the forums are available in read-only format. Registering to our forums also gives you the option of being notified about new software or special offers.

Are forum discussions moderated?
We want forum users to express themselves.  However, postings with swearing, name calling, offensive comments or inappropriate images/videos will be deleted by forum moderators. Moderators reserve the right to remove from the forum users responsible for offending posts. Please respect other users in the forums.

Can I edit or delete my posts?
Yes, you can edit and delete your posts.

Can I search the forum for posts?
Yes, just click on the search link at the top of the forum page and enter the name of the topic that you wish to search.

I hope I’m posting this the correct way.

My question (it may be a stupid one, but I’m still very green) is:

What functions do the Trak Kutter and the Mix View serve? It seems as though editing can be done on the Kutter (volume, looping) but not on the Mixer. Why is that, and can I move my editted tracks from the Kutter to the Mixer so that I can position them the way I want? Or is there a way to adjust and loop portions on the Mixer? OR… am I just doing everything completely wrong (which I get the feeling is case)?

I’m confused.

Thanks for downloading trakAxPC.

The Trakkutter allows you to edit music and video, create selections and copy and paste them into the Mixing Screen. Once your edited selection is brought into the Mixing Screen you can extend it (loop it), move it to other areas, insert effects and envelopes and bring in other media and make a mix.

Really the trakkutter is just an editing tool to allow you cut media before bringing it into the Mixing Screen.

You can also bring in Media directly in the Mixing Screen by dragging and dropping it from the Media Browser into the Mixing Screen. Here you can adjust the length of the music or video and mix it with other media.

We have created video tutorials that explain everything that you can do in trakAxPC. They are very informative and hopefully will get you up and running quickly.
