Hi,

Great product! Enjoying it but I have a problem.

Every time I want to move a sound sample to the very start of a track I have a lot of problems esp when the song is locked to a tempo. I have to fiddle with the start of the sample (finding a start point, cutting front of sample) and even after all that it sometimes just will not let me move (drag) it to the very first 0-00 of a track. It ends up a bar or so away from the start :(

I end up not using a sample due to this… Any ideas how i can just drag my samples to the start of a track without all this hassle?

Many thanks for the mail and for downloading trakAxPC.

This is an issue we are currently working on for the next release, however, unfortunately at this moment in time there is not much we can do about it. It is occurring as a result of the beat-syncing function.

You are able move the sample to the start of the palette i.e. 0.00, by disabling the beat-syncing icon on the individual track. When the beat-syncing function is disabled, you can move the sample file to any location in the mix.

Another option is to use the “Loop Start” and “Maximum Loop Size” function. This can be accessed by right clicking on the timeline at the top of the mixing palette screen. By selecting “Loop Start”, you will remove the silence at the start of the mix and the loop will play from very start. This is very handy when rendering a mix.
