i think that’s what i need to do anyway…

i’ve just downloaded the free version to have a look, and if it’s as awesome to use as it looks i’ll be buying it. it’s just that the files i plan on editing most are from my canon 600d and are in MOV file format. with what or how should i convert them so i can edit them in trakAxPc?

There is another tool called Super which is a little more complicated but very good also and free.

Any idea when the new update will be available?  Part of the reason I bought the program was to save and edit my iphone (.mov) movies.

MPEG Streamclip also works well if you need to work with HD video.

Will this update be available to users of the paid version only?
I plan on buying trakAxPc but I would have liked to try the video editing features before spending money.
I’ll try the conversion softwares then!

This upgrade will be available to everyone. It will be a free upgrade for all people who have already purchased the software, however with the introduction of new video codecs, this software upgrade may cost more for people who have not yet purchased the software, as this is still in management discussions.

Is it upgraded yet? Someone recommended this software to me which the free version seems like it is currently unable to play .mov’s. If this feature is added, it would significantly increase the odds of me buying this in the future.
