Hey Everyone,

we’ve just posted a new blog entry (see here http://www.trakax.com/software/about/comments/trakaxmobile_example_mix/) in anticipation of the upcoming release of trakAxMobile.

We’re really excited to get trakAxMobile out to the world. The short videos on the blog will hopefully give you an idea of what is possible with trakAxMobile. Rather than having some great little videos and photos on your phone, only to stay there for months, mix them up and have something great to share with friends and family in a matter of minutes.

We’ll be on again shortly with more news of the release - so check back soon.

Thanks!

ADDING TEXT WHEN PLACING VIDEO ONTO YOUTUBE

One small tip I’ve found is that when you are creating a video that you would like to upload onto YouTube and then onto your blog/forum:
if you have text on your photos and videos, normally you place the text onto the bottom of the screen (in order to see the photos & videos clearly). If you do this, keep the text to the left-hand side of the screen - in this way, the YouTube Logo won’t overlap with your text and you will be able to read your text clearly!

See image attached.

Thanks!

* Free Mixing: MPEG4 or AAC if audio only - - High-quality file: Smaller file size than ‘Best Quality’
* Ringtones: AAC/WAV if AAC isn’t supported as Ringtones on the phone
* Small MMS: .3GP H263+AMR or AMR if audio only
* Large MMS: .3GP H263+AMR or AMR if audio only
* Small Email Multimedia: MPEG4 or AAC if audio only
* Large Email Multimedia: MPEG4 or AAC if audio only
* Note: MPEG4 files contain MPEG4 video with AAC audio. 3GP files contain H263 video and AMR audio

LOOPING AUDIO / VIDEO IN YOUR MIX

You can control whether your audio or video clips loop from the Editing Screens (tick indicates that the media will loop) - see screenshot below:

Feeling Limited by the 6 item limit? Don’t!

I’m trying to learn editing and videoblogging in an entirely mobile environment, and TrakAx is a perfect solution for this.  Getting around the 6 item limit is simply a matter of keeping your files organized.  I set my camera to record everything to the memory card, and I set the render output of TrakAx to the same directory.  This way, I can edit together a section, render it, click okay twice and go back to the file chooser in TrakAx.  Then, Lo and Behold! the item I just edited is sitting right there in my list (as I’ve set TrakAx to look in that directory for files).  I can then put that file into a channel for a new mix. Rinse and repeat as necessary.
