Looks like it’s going to be great, folks!  I purchased the current version back in March and found it to be a very enjoyable program to work with.

The new version looks to be even better!

As a company, I appreciate the support (videos on youtube, quick forum responses, etc) you offer.  And the price you offer your product at is commendable.

Sure, this program doesn’t have all the features of (for example) Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or After Effects (Nor do I believe that’s the demographic you are going after), but it has a surprising amount of horsepower and doesn’t have the steep learning curve or high-end price of the other programs mentioned.

With TrakAx, A new user can sit down and have a very impressive video (or audio piece) in almost no time.

For those on the fence about purchasing the full version, for the price you can’t go wrong.  And supporting companies that develop this software will ensure that improvements will continue to be made, and great software like this can still exist to compete with the far more expensive options.

Yet another reason to be proud of my Irish heritage! ;)

This is great, I’m so glad we have something that shows what to look forward to.  Any plans on an iPad App?

I found something unique, when I plug my cellphone in to the usb port and dont upload the video
Trakax seems to automatically grab it from the cellphone files..Really strange..but cool
Im just glad I have no videos on my cell that would get me in trouble with wifey

Helloo, Any news on the Trakaxpc Pro 4.0 launch ?

Reason being I now have maybe 100 Gigabytes of .flv files and there is just way too much to convert to the necessary Trakax format so I cannot use these files in my Trakax 3.1 to edit at present.

I know you are all working hard and am sorry for being impatient !

Excellent to hear this great product is getting an update.

With the added format support, will this include support for alpha (transparency) information in movie clips, supported by some of the codecs in .MOV and by .FLV (as well as some .AVI codecs)?

I’m new to Trakxpc but not new to media. Haven’t been in the industry for a very long time and now I’m back. Pro 3 has given me a re-start and I’m so thankful to that. It’s great fun and I’m loving every minute of it. Waiting for the new release (pro4) to enhance my ability to edit. Plus all my cameras are AVHD and every time I need to convert it to a lower resolution format which is a big lose on generation. Therefore can’t wait for the new version which will fix the above. Looking forward fellows.

Do you have any idea when v4 will be coming out?
I have quite a few .MTS files that I want to work on, and I hate having to convert them first.
(I also want to make a nice slide show)

Repeat of last post ... any closer to release of v4 ?
Just got new camera recording .mov files I need to edit which I beleieve v4 can handle ? I do not fancy converting if new release imminent ? Maybe participate in testing ?
