I’ve been using TrakAx for a little while now, and really love it over all. If 10 was the best ever with 0 being the suckiest ever… I rate TrakAx a solid 8.
Just some things I think could make it an even better mixing tool.
The ability to tell TrakAx NOT to search in certain folders, and areas of the HD.
The ability to have a drum machine able to layer tracks also for better loops.
A music creation studio as to layer in or loop in our own original creations. Making the program able to say work like a KEYBOARD with out needing to own one, and able to macro play any key sequence we like for as long as needed. So as to record a loop and be able to pkay with or with out a disability.
I think some added video effects would be really cool: Like being able to have video in video control size and placement of the video in video option.
To be able to reverse any section of video you wish, also same with music.
Credits would be a basic feature I would add with better effects than MS Movie Maker can produce.
The ability to save in case of a crash as a optional toggle on and off feature would be nice. Making it so you can move the segments of audio anyplace without the program crashing. As many times I will spasm and this will cause me to drag and drop a segment in the wrong spot and crash…
If the segment simply either floated back to where it started, a note popped up saying you can’t place this here, or it just sat where ever it dropped as if it layered over the other audio segmant like a sound effects layer would… It would make this program a solid 9.5 out of ten in my book with this one feature alone. Put them all in and you will have a 10 out of ten I think.
I have told many people about this cool program, as I do enjoy it that much.
I think a text to voice feature would be just a cool little feature to add also. I don’t mean the basic Speak N Spell voice or MS Sam… One that we could asjust to sound as human, or robotic as we like in male and or female.
If the ability to add the FLV video format so we could import YouTube video much easier, as well as save to the FLV format would be handy.
