Hello,

I hope you can help me, steer me in the right direction, on the next question.

Just so you know, I edited the question-video, of course, with TrakAxPC smile

Thanks for your time.

Hi JJ

Thanks for your mail and your video.

I understand the issue you are having.

The Video track and the audio track work on different playrates. The Video in the Mixing Screen works with a numerical playrate that goes to a maximum of 10.00

While the audio track works on BPM (Beats per minute)

If you want to change the playrate of both the audio and video track so they both increase or decrease together and stay in sync and match perfectly, you will first need to bring the video clip with audio into the trakkutter.

Please see our wiki with a video included:
http://www.trakax.com/software/wiki/Category:Trakkutter/

Change the playrate of the video clip in the trakkutter and then edit and copy it into the mixing screen.

Please see Video on changing playrate in trakkutter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZl9SQgtGHA#t=7m32s

Please see Video on Making a edit in the trakkutter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZl9SQgtGHA#t=0m15s

I have also done a tips and tricks video on this:

I hope this helps and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.

best regards
Cormac

Hello Cormac,

I guess, for some tasks, I need to rethink my method of editing then, since I ususally drag all of my movies and clips directly into the mixing screen, and do the editing right there. Would you believe I was wondering why there was a seperate track cutter, since most of the jobs you can do in the mixing area as well. Well, that’s learning.

Thanks for pointing me to the tutorial(part)s.

But judging from the video, I shóuld be able to tape the new rate into that number field, right?
Select old - delete old - type in the new?

I will go and work with it. Great.

Thanks.
