As the title says. It seems that I’m able to adjust the playrate from 025-250. When entering higher numbers manually it either reverts back to 250 or jumps to a 1000.
Is it not possible to adjust playrate to say 500?

Hi Bisse

Thanks for your mail.

The BPM is maxed out at 300bpm. The audio track will not go any faster than this figure.

I hope this helps and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Best regards

Cormac

Thanks for the reply. Not sure its what I’m looking for though.

I do not have any audio in the mix. Rightclick on video-segment -> Segment properties -> Adjust Play Rate. I can’t enter the value 300.
Right now it either caps out at 250 or jumps to 1000 if I enter a value above 250.

background:
I have recorded some video of me showing a specific workflow using a program. Because this takes way too long, I want to speed the video up significantly.

Hi Bessie

Thanks for your mail and the update.

If you are trying to speed up or slow down a video segment in the mixing screen, the maximum playreate speed you can do is 10.00. Just type in the number 10

Bescause it will speed up signicantly it will loop so you will need to adjust the lenght of segment after adjustment.

Please see the video on speeding/slowing and reversing segemnts. Hopefully you will find it helpful.

If I insert the number 10 and it automatically sets the number to 1000. I don’t want it to run at 10x speed but around 5x speed. The problem is that I can’t insert that value, because it automatically jumps to 1000. Lets say I enter the number 5 -> boom, and the number is converted to 1000.
Is it a bug? Everything below 250 works fine.

Hi Bessie

I have just tested it and it seems to be working fine.

When you put the number 10 in, it is the number 10 but just adds a decimal point so 10 becomes 10.00 not 1000 (ie a playrate of X10)

if you add the number 5 it becomes 5.00 (playrate of X5)

I have done a very short video to show you working here.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for taking the time to resolve my issues. I don’t know what I did wrong before but now it actually seems to be working. When inserting the number 5 and waiting for 1 second, the number converts to 500 and it seems to playing at 5x speed.

Originally it was confusing because default 1x speed is shown as 100. Therefore I entered 500 because I believed that would yield a 5x speed, but that just resulted in the number 1000 being the 10x max speed.

Now that I know how to insert the correct scale, its not a problem I guess. Do you now why it shows as 100 on my PC and not 1.00?

Thanks again for your help!

Hi Bessie

Thanks for the update and glad you are up and running.

I am not sure why it is displaying like this on your PC. Can you send me a screenshot of the playrate so I can show it to the guys tomorrow morning (if it not too much trouble)?

You can post it here on the forum or send it to me at .

Thanks again and best regards

Sure. I don’t know if a screen-cap is enough or if they would need a video?
