How to set a start point…

We race cars and have two cameras in our cars. They each record separate videos and I use TrakAx to combine them in a front and rear-view collage after the race. I have figured out how to synchronize them together but there is a ton of wasted video in the beginning of the race where the car is just sitting waiting to go out or going slow in the warm up laps. How can I get my videos aligned up in the mixer window and then set a “start” point, where I can delete everything prior to that point so that my videos start when the fun stuff starts instead of seeing the boring warm-up stuff.

I’m interested in a “delete all before this point” kindof thing.

Any ideas?

Hi SmartyParts

Yes, you can do this. I did a quick tips and tricks video to show you how this can be done.

Note: it is important you turn off the snap to grid option to get extact editing: See wiki:
http://www.trakax.com/software/wiki/Snap_to_Grid_Icon/

If you wish to see the video in a bigger screen just click in the window while it is playing.

I hope this helps and please do not hesitate to contact me

Best regards
