Hi there !

Exceptional software ! I am trying it out with the included 7 days free version, and it’s a winner !
However, I have a question: When I mix a video to send it via MMS, where does the temp file go? I mean, I have two memories in my HTC Touch Diamond: Phone memory and Internal Storage.

Phone memory is very limited, and I wouldn’t like to saturate it with gradual mixes… When I mix, and decide to send it as MMS (last step of the process), my HTC brings about the actual MMS composer which s logical. I guess the file created by Trakax is saved somewhere, but I don’t know where at all… I just hope it does not go into the Phone memory, but I still can’t find any trace in my Internal Storage (4Gb)…

Any answer for my question?

Many thanks for your kind comments - it is very much appreciated.

When you choose to send your mix as a MMS/Email, we render the mix to a temporary file in the Temp folder. We then call your MMS/Email client with a link to this file. The file is then deleted when focus returns to TrakAxMobile.

If you decide to cancel the MMS/Email or return to trakAxMobile before clicking ‘Send’, the temporary file (your mix) is deleted.

If you do send the MMS/Email, you can then delete your ‘Sent’ items as usual.

Sorry for any confusion with my answer. The Temp File is only present for a very short period of time - if you cancel sending the MMS, the temp file is deleted. If you send the MMS, the file is encoded with the MMS and then is held within your MMS/Email attachments (the temp file is deleted), which you can then delete as you normally delete your sent MMS/Emails.

Of course, you can simply save your mix to your desired location on your device/SD Card and attach the file directly yourself to your MMS/Email.

There is never any need for you to have to delete the temp file - it is automatically deleted for you.
