trakAx

I tried to do a search for this, but couldn’t find it discussed anywhere.

I know what the problem is, I moved the files.  When I originally installed and started using trakAx, I didn’t really pay attention to organizing anything.  After a while, this took it’s toll.  So I decided to clean everything up by putting the files into appropriate folders, etc.

Since I moved the files from their original location (which was just scattered all around my desktop), I can’t get trakAx to use the files unless I scatter them all over my desktop again.

Is there any way to get trakAx to just locate the missing files, instead of just placing the files in their original location, or creating the mixes again?

Hi Reivax,

thanks for your message. Unfortunately this is a short-coming of the current release. When files have been moved or missing, there is currently no way of finding these files when opening a mix that contains such files.

In the new version of trakAxPC which will be available later this month, we have implemented a fix for this issue. Now if you have moved or reorganised your file structures, you don’t have to freak out when opening previously made mixes. You can now locate missing files in the mix using the Missing Link functionality - please see screenshot below.
