“An error occurred while attempting to save to file” - in free version of TrakAxPC

Hi All

This issue does not effect users who have paid for or are currently running the full version of TrakAxPC Pro in trial mode

It has come to our attention that the free version of trakAxPC (i.e when the 30 day free trial has ended) does not allow users to export a file.

We are working on fix for this and hope to have it released in the next few days.

This issue does not effect users who have paid for or are currently running the full version of TrakAxPC Pro in trial mode

There is a fix for this error now.

Please download the new version of TrakAxPC Pro ver 3.01.1, that is now available from the download page:

http://www.trakax.com/software/pc/download/

Once this is downloaded and installed, you will be able to export files in the free version of the application.

This issue does not effect users who have paid for or are currently running the full version of TrakAxPC Pro in trial mode

Hi,

I’m only on day 4 of my 30-day trial using 3.01.1, and am still getting this message.
Any hints?

Love your program so far, and really appreciate that the developers are active on the forums and listening to the feedback.

Hi Hagmanay,

Thanks for the message - sorry that you are experiencing this issue.

Is this error happening every time you try and export a mix or has it just started to happen when you are trying to export a mix with a particular video / audio segment in it?

What file format are you exporting to MP4/ WMV /AVI?

It could be happening due to some corruption in one of the files - once we have more information, we will make every effort to get you up and running.
