Program looks good, works fine, I liked the tutorials, but… the fact that it didn’t inform me in BIG RED NEON letters (I’m not one to read EULAs, since I know that developers are just saying “we’re going to do whatever the hell we want and are liable for nothing") that it was going to install a shitty piece of DRM including a service installed with automatic start. Bad enough already, I won’t buy ANY piece of software that will install a service without explicitly saying so, and even less if somehow feels that it knows what I should have running and what not. A service in normal start that your program starts when loaded and stops when finished should be the way, *IF* you really need the service.
What is worse, the service DOES NOT UNINSTALL when I uninstall Trakax. That, for me, is malware.
I googled for video edition programs for my mom, who just retired and wants to make some mixes of her videos. I was about to recommend her to buy Trakax. Until I encountered this.
No more. And now I how to google how to remove a piece of sh*t service that won’t uninstall in a friendly way.
Thanks for that. Way to treat your customers. Or ex-potential customers. And thank you for making me lose my time.
