You might want to leave a few more details, I’m pretty sure the TrakAx team will be unable to help you without knowing what operating system you use, system hardware (processor, ram, graphics card), that kind of thing.

Currently the only information you’ve given is “It crashes” which Isn’t really much help when it comes to bug tracking.

Put yourself in their shoes, try and think what sort of information you would find useful if you yourself were creating TrakAx.

Hi Bombix

Thanks for downloading trakAxPC.

As Daroh has said can you tells us what operating system, memory, processor and ram you are currently using. (Thanks Daroh!)

Also are using a licensed or unlicensed version of the software?

Are you using specific files like an avi that are causing the application crash are is it just random files?

If it is a specific file/s can you send it on to me at if it not too big so we can have a look at it.

If possible, if you get an error message again can you create a screenshot so that we can see the error (just press the print screen button on your keyboard and then paste in Window Paint) and send it to us.

Hopefully we can get to bottom of the issue you are having.

Best regards
Cormac

Hi Bombix

Were you mixing just audio or where you mixing video as well in the mixing screen. The software has been tested extensively with mp3’s so this should not be an issue.

What version of the software are you running?

Also do you have any third party codec pack installed?

Best regards

Hi BombBix

It is quite difficult to tell what is happening to cause this problem without seeing your set-up. Are you able to bring the same video files in windows movie maker without any issues?

Best regards

Imagine how dificult it must be.
Unfortunaly i never got an error msg again just crashes.
The error seems random. I manage to make a complete mix, but now always crashes in the export procedure. The crashes is completely random in percentage of work done.
Is there any way i can save the mix in a external hdd i try to export it in another computer?
Thanks in advance

Fernando

Hi Fernando

Thanks for the update.

Yes there is a way to do this.

Have the mix open in the mixing screen.

Then Click on File/Archive: (see screenshot). If you have a number of mixes open click No to archive the curent mix only (see Screenshot)

The file will now be saved as an Archive file which means your exact mix will be saved and all the media included in that mix will be saved also.

Transfer the archive file (.tarc) to your other PC.

When you load up trakAxPC on your other machine go to file/open archive.( see screenshot)and selected the archive file(.tarc) file you created.

The exact mix and with audio and video files will now open on your other PC.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best regards
Cormac

Hi,

I manage to export without changing the computer. I did the folowing:
I exported the mix in 2 parts then i mixed the 2 parts together and then it worked perfectly. So i guess there must be something with the video or audio messing with the software.
Do you whant me to send you some samples, they are a bit big so i guess we should use something like yousendit.
Thanks for your time

Hi Fernando

Thanks for the update: It would be great if you could pass one on so we can have a look at it here:

Yousendit would be great, that would be perfect.

I have also have a Humyo account if you want to use that as a backup option. I will need your e-mail so I can send an invite. You can send your e-mail to .

Whatever is easiest for you.

Thanks again

Cormac
