Ok, so i downloaded trakax and it worked fine, i then upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate and reinstalled it and it worked perfect again. But then recently it hasnt been working. Well, it works, but when i go into the mixing window and drag a track into it and press play it doesnt do anything. The little book thinks flash but thats it. Help me please?

This could be caused by a soundcard issue in your machine. Is it possible that you have 2 soundcards in your machine? Your PC might be changing what your default card is or another application running might be using a different sound card causing an issue.

A possible solution might be for when this occurs is to go to Options/Mixer configuration (see screenshot)

and then choose your default soundcard in the soundcard area. Once this is selected, click ok.
Hopefully this will solve the issue you are having. Please let me know if to does not and we will look into it further.

IM having the same problem, i used trakax for 2days, and on my third day none of my mixes are playing. Ichecked the sound card and no luck!

When did you download trakAxPC, has it gone out of the 30 day free trial or have you just downloaded recently?

Are you using USB headphones or USB speakers?

You can try and select tools/ sounds and audio devices in the main toolbar: See Screenshot

and then in the playback window select your device you use for your audio playback.

Hopefully when this device is selected in the playback window it will solve your issue.

im having the same problem, when i click the play button nothing happens, the video wont play in the output screen, the little mix logo flashes in the palette tab and thats it. thank you for any help.

Have you gone into the mixer configuration and changed the soundcard in the soundcard dropdown box?

Go to Options in the main toolbar and select mixer configuration: (see screenshot)

and then in the dropdown box select the sound card you are using for playback.( see screenshot)

Then click ok:

Hopefully when this device is selected in the playback window it will solve your issue.

If you want to make sure this doesn’t happen again

select tools/ sounds and audio devices in the main toolbar

and then in the playback window select your device you use for your audio playback so this will not happen again.

LMAO, I just Upgraded Video, Audio, and Power supply I done thought I broke poor little TrakAx. But, You saved me again. I forget the Mixer Configuration Setting. Sheesh. :~) It’s only set once then never thought of again for me.

I also have a HTC HD2 Device now able to download APPS, and I am seeking a proper Mixer for it :p LOL I can’t wait to get the mobile TrakAx for the HTC HD2 Leo.

Keep up the AWESOME WORK. Off to of course play TrakAx on my show. :p

1. Oh no what have i done now messing about with my computer ??and now TrakAx doesnt work...damn ...no sound ..

3....Oh yes I forgot , He is sooo right I do have 2 sound cards now ...I disabled the on board sound card for the creative one I put in a while ago ..
