Hi,

An awesome tool you’ve developed and thanks for allowing us to freely try it out.

Just one question, so far , I have all my audio, video and photos on a shared network drive, external to my main pc. I can’t see a network option in the left explorer frame. Is it possible to view network drives with trakAx?

Hey Markus,

Yes it is possible to search for files which are located on a network or external hard-drive.

If you cannot see your network drive in Explorer mode, click on the “Scan” tab in the Media Browser.
You can learn more about Scanning for files and this specific function, by clicking on this trakAx Wiki Link.

In the Scan tab, click on the icon “Choose area on your hard-drive to search”. (See first screenshot below).

When clicked the “Browse for Folder” window will appear. In this window, you can locate specific folders and drives on your network. (See second screenshot). Browse through your drives until you find the network you are looking for. You can search deep into the network by doubling clicking on the folder name.
