Hello!

I have trakAxPC installed in my computer (version 3.00.193 - freeware). I would like to know if is possible to create a “fade in” audio at the beginning of a piece of music and a “fade out” at the end of the passage.

Thanks for the message. You can indeed introduce a fade at the start and end of a video or audio track. The link below on the Wiki should explain this in detail (and also contains a link to watch a video on this):

Hello!

I followed the guidance of the Wiki - Introducing Fades to the Beginning & End of Segments. I positioned my cursor to start of the segment then moved the mouse to the top of the segment. However, the mouse cursor didn’t change to the fade cursor. Does this not because I’m using the freeware version of the software and the same would not have this feature? The version is: version 3.00.193 - freeware.

Hi Ricardo,

You can use fades in the free version of trakAxPC - you may want to move your cursor around a little at the top of the segment until the “Fade” appears.
