Hey, for those wondering what other Mixers are out for our handheld devices, here is my thoughts on one that I got until TrakAx gets their Mobile version for the HTC HD2 Leo 480x800 resolution screen available.
mixHDJ is a simple two track music player. It features beat matching, the ability to so called scratch (sound quality sucks for that) pitch change crossfade and work with either deck on headphones as you monitor it to ready for mixing.
It can not SAVE your work.
It Plays MP3, AAC, WAV, and AIF I guess some are Apple formats as I don’t use I-anything I am not sure.
It is a cute little program and for $7.50 cents about USD this is a cool little program.
DO NOT expect to whip it out in a club or even a house party to throw down a mix, unless your very practiced at it.
TrakAx this product can not touch what you offer. TrakAx does so much more with audio alone, then you have video that it can play with… Plus you can SAVE the work you create as you go.
But, for a time waster while on the go, it is a fun little program. And, for now will be what tides me over until the program I want is ready. :~)
mixHDJ gets a 3 out of 5 stars.
Even without using the mobile VGA ($12.00) version of TrakAx based on the use of the PC program this sounds to be a 10 out of Five stars also. :~)
