Hello,
I have been having some problems with publishing a video I have made lately and was hoping that I could find some help on this site.
The video involves some interviews which I have filmed, and then placed in Trakax (free version - V 3.01.1) I then cut parts of the interviews which I didn’t want and then looked in the video output box to see how it looks and it worked well, however the problem comes when I export the video (as a .wmv) to my local folder. I found that some, not all, of the audio has come out of sync of with the video.

I have tried various things but it doesn’t seem to help very much. Any help will be wonderful!
thank you so much

Hi popo94

Thanks for downloading trakAxPC and your post.

It is difficult to know what is happening without seeing your mix.I have a couple of question to get a better idea of what might be happening.

What file format is the original clip that the interview was filmed in? Avi, Mp4, Mpgeg?
It could be caused by a codec issue, do you have any third party codecs installed on your PC?

How did you cut the video? Did you cut out the video in the Mixing Screen or did you bring the whole video into the trakkutter and then cut out sections using the selection box function?

If you did not use the trakkutter, maybe try and bring the whole video into the trakkutter and copy and paste the areas that want to use and paste them into the Mixing Window and then render to wmv.

Maybe this way will work better as I don’t know how you cut the video originally.

Check out our wiki on making a selection and copying it in the trakkutter and there is also a video that shows you how to use the trakkutter.

I hope this helps and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards
