Is there a way to record sounds off the internet without using the external mic? When I do that the sound quality is not that good.

You could use something like the new Real Player application (which is free) that allows you to download audio files from players

Once you have this application downloaded and play an audio file in a player, a download graphic will appear. (See screenshot)

Click on this graphic to download the audio as an mp3, which can then used in trakAxPC to mix.
If you have trakAxPC open, it will be automatically be shown in the Media Browser, ready to mix.( see screenshot)
