I’m so sorry to bother you, but I just purchased trackAxPC Pro in hopes to have better editing options for my video’s. After watching quite a bit of your Tutorials, I’m still lost as to how do I edit multiple recorded sessions into one whole video. I’ve just been able to play one video and edit that by itself, and I have many recordings of a day recorded that I’d like to put together rather than have these small fragmented scenes.
Can you please help me? If you can refer me to a video (in case I missed it) to save yourself time, I would be grateful just the same.
You can edit multiple videos in the trakkutter and then paste your edited videos into the Mixing Screen.
Editing a piece of video to your desired length is a simple process and hopefully after you do this once, you will be at ease with this editing process.
Once found, double click on the file and it will appear in the trakKutter ready to be used. The trakKutter is the area which allows you to view your file and edit it to your own requirements. When the file is in the trakkutter, you are able to highlight the area of the file you want to use. Once the area is highlighted, a “Selection Box” is created. This edited selection can then be copied into the mixing window ready to mix. You can have multiple files open in the trakkutter. ( see screenshot)
To make a selection, hold down the [SHIFT] key on the keyboard and while holding down the left mouse button, drag to open a selection box. When a selection is made, you can adjust the length of the selection by moving your mouse to the start / end of the box and the ‘adjust length’ indicators will appear. Simply, click and drag in the direction of your choice. You can also move the whole box by clicking and holding on it, and then move the box to your desired location. You can press “Play” to view the media within the selection and adjust the box to your desired length. When you are happy with your selection box, right click on the selection box and select copy and then go to where to you would like it to placed in the Mixing Screen and select paste.
The edited video will now in the be in the mixing screen, ready to mix with other media.
Repeat this process with your the video clips you have recorded.
