I had played with trakAxPC a few times but decided to buy when I found it could easily hand GoPro output, in addition to the great features.  This is some film I put together for a few homesick Aussies working overseas whilst on a recent break.  New camera, new kayak - and new editing software. The film is a bit long and boring but was good to see how quickly I could put something together and try a few of the features. Really happy with the software.

cheers

Hey Rob,

Thanks a mil for sharing the video - it seems so peaceful and serene there (jealous on a cold, wet Irish evening). There is almost no noise at all - must be a great place to be outdoors. Loved the underwater footage, it is really impressive - can see why those fish are called flatheads - you’d hardly see them in the mud. I’m totally unfamiliar with Kayak fishing, but another forum member also shared his kayak fishing video here recently (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwAmrC-ER7Y&feature=youtu.be). I imagine your homesick friends are now even more homesick!

(BTW - whereabouts in NSW is this filmed?)

Thanks again for sharing - please keep us posted on future vids!

Thanks Catriona

Some of the kayak guys are into video in a big way. I just like to record what I’m up to, particularly when out solo.

This was filmed in the Port Macquarie area on 2 different waterways, about 5-6 hours drive North of Sydney.
