Hi Imbritt
You can edit a video a couple of ways
The first way is to bring the track into the trakkutter by double clicking on it in the media browser.
Once the track is in the trakkutter, create a selection to copy and paste video into the Mixing Screen that you want to mix.
Please check out our wiki with a video included.

The second way is bring the video track into the mixing screen.
Once the track is in the mixing screen, create a selection box to cover the area that you would like to delete by holding down the shift key on your keyboard and holding down the left button of your mouse. If you do not want the selection to snap to grid-lines, right click and turn-off snap to grid.

Once you have created the selection box, right click on it and select cut. The area in the selection box is now removed, leaving only the piece/pieces of video you want to mix.
The last way is to bring the track into the mixing screen and use the adjust length indicators to resize the track to show only the the area of video you want.

I hope this helps and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
Best regards
