I have an HTC Advantage which has loads of memory, but after creating a mix, I get a memory error when trying to save it.  If I then OK the error, and try and resave it again, it works.  Dont fully understand whats going on, but at least it does work like a charm the second time.

EDIT : This does not seem to happen everytime though, I shall do some more testing

Hi James,

Thanks for the feedback - without more information it is hard to know what is happening, but some tips might be:

1. Save Mix to the SD Card
Depending on what media you are mixing, the length of the mix and what output you have chosen (Best Quality/Free Mixing/Email etc.), the resulting mix can become quite large. Despite the fact that the Advantage appears to have lots of memory available, some sections of this memory can be restricted and not available to the user. Saving to the SD Card is normally the best option and will prevent saving issues. We’ve had no issues while rendering and saving very large mixes to the SD Card.

2. Number of applications running
You may have noticed in the FAQs, if you have a large number of applications running simultaneously, this may also cause some memory issues.

Hope this is of assistance and if you have any further queries, please drop us a line at any stage.

Many thanks!
