In trakAxPC, you can add Audio and Video effects to your mix while in the Mixing Window. To add an effect to an Audio / Video segment, simply right click directly over the area of the segment where the effect is to be applied. Select either “Audio Effect” or “Video Effect” from the drop down menu. From the sub-menu that is presented, select the appropriate effect to be inserted. A blue grid area will be displayed which represents the area of the media segment to which the effect is applied.
An effect is only applied to the media that is directly underneath the effects segment area. To adjust the length of an effect area, move your mouse to the start or end boundaries of the grid and the mouse cursor indicator will change to display the adjust length indicator shape. While holding down the left button on your mouse, drag in direction of your choice.
Users may wish to change the individual paramaters of an effect to give the results that they desire for their own individual creation. TrakAxPC provides the flexibility to manipulate the individual parameters of most effects and allows the user to hear or see, in real time, how those modifications are reflected in the resultant output. By clicking on the effect properties button, users can alter the individual parameters to produce their desired results.
To delete an effect, right click on the effect and in the drop down menu select “Delete”. In the Delete sub-menu, select “Delete Effect”. You can also delete an effect by clicking on the effect to select it and pressing the delete key on your keyboard.
