“Collaging” also sometimes referred to as Picture-In-Picture, is a really exciting feature which allows you to show two or more videos / images together, be it side by side or one over another within the same Video Output Screen. You can use the zoom and vertical / horizontal offsets to adjust the relative placement of each video stream. You can access these features in the “Segment Properties” window within the Mixing Window, as well as the Trakkutter.

In the Mixing Window, you can access media to edit by clicking the “Segment Properties” icon. The Segment Properties icon is located in the bottom left hand corner of a segment. While in the Segment Properties window, you can edit the file and its various properties - e.g. adjust the tempo, reverse play, cut sample etc., as well as using the zoom and vertical / horizontal offsets to adjust the relative placement of the video stream. The Segment Properties window is also extremely important as you can resize your image to achieve the Collaging effect.

The Trakkutter allows you to listen to and view a multimedia file. You can also modify parameters such as volume, tempo, video brightness etc., as well using the Preview Display Window to resize a video / image to assist Collaging. Resizing a video / image works the same as resizing a video / image in the Segment Properties window.

Note: each segment has a corresponding collage button. For collaging to occur both this button and the Segment Properties collage button must be engaged.

The Always On Top (AOT) icon is relevant only for collaging. When engaged, this video will be placed on top of other videos contributing to the current collage. Note: each track has a corresponding AOT button. For AOT to occur, the track AOT button must be engaged.

Note: If more than one track is AOT, then the last piece of media introduced in the timeline will appear on top.

Note: To learn more about Collaging, we would highly recommend watching the full video tutorial on Collaging
