View Category:Grouping -> Locking Segments to specific areas.
If you wish to lock a segment in place in the Mixing Window so it cannot be moved, sized or split, right click on the segment and from the drop down menu select “Lock”.

Once a segment is locked. A small graphic will appear indicating the segment is now locked. To unlock the segment, click on it to highlight it, right click and select “Unlock” from the menu.
