With trakAxPC, you can mix video segments together using various “Video Transitions” such as Fade, Slide, Blinds, Inset etc. You can add Video Transitions to two pieces of media which are crossfaded or add a transitions to an individual segment.
When two pieces of media intersect on the same track, automatic crossfading allows you to fade one segment out while fading another segment in, at the same time. Use the right click menu on the crossfade area and select “Insert Transition” from the drop down menu. From the “Insert Transition” sub-menu, select the transition you wish to place in the crossfaded area. It will be signified by an orange crossfade area with the transition name placed within it.
To insert a transition on segment on another channel, right click where you like to place the transition and select “Video Transitions”. In the sub menu, select the transition you would like to use. This transition will be represented by a red grid.
You can expand and minimize a transition grid by clicking on the effect expand button. This allows the user to access the segment behind the transition and also allows multiple transitions to be placed in the same area in the track.
To delete a transition, right click on the transition and in the drop down menu select “Delete”. In the Delete sub-menu , select “Delete Transition”. You can also delete a transition by clicking on the transition to select it and pressing the delete key on your keyboard.
